Alderney Cinema

Situated in the centre of St Anne, Victoria Street, the Alderney Cinema shows the latest film releases, many of which are individually sponsored by the island's businesses and residents.

The cinema which is financed by the Alderney Cinema Club, purchased a new projector in 1994. However, funds did not quite stretch to the latest top of the range model, which is why only half of the film can be screened and while the reel is being changed, the audience retire to the pub for a drink at the Georgian House just across the road or the nearby Albert Inn.  Nobody minds - it's quaint and amusing.

All films are advertised on posters throughout the island and in the Alderney Journal.
