Easter Train Special

All aboard the Easter Egg Special, the Channel Islands’ only working Railway.

Holidaymakers and locals celebrate Easter in Alderney with a special ride on the island’s railway, with three trips scheduled on the Victorian railway line.

With Easter eggs on offer to under 14s it is always a busy day for the railway. The two railway carriages, which are old tube carriages from the northern line, run from Braye station down to Mannez Quarry.

Upon arrival at the quarry, residents and visitors have the chance to ride on the miniature railway or have a tour of the lighthouse.
