Good news for Alderney’s music lovers; the Alderney Chamber Music Festival hosts its third concert series in August 2019.
The founders of this exciting event are sibling violinists Louisa and Samuel Staples who regularly visit the island for family holidays and were both students at the renowned Yehudi Menuhin School. Louisa and Samuel have organised three concerts of masterpieces from the chamber music repertoire and will perform alongside some of the world’s best young musicians right here on Alderney.
An unmissable opportunity to hear some of the musical stars of the future!
‘For as long as we have been visiting Alderney it has been a dream of ours to start a music festival that brings great chamber music to this beautiful island as well as giving a performance platform to some of the worlds best young musicians. 2017 marked the launch of the Alderney Chamber Music Festival and we hope than you can join us for the second event in 2018 for an exciting program of highlights from the chamber music repertoire, from the joy of Mozart to the drama of Tchaikovsky.’ – Louisa & Samuel Staples, Artistic Directors
