Alderney is heading for the Jungle
To brighten up the dark winter evenings with exciting adventures, OddSocks will be turning the Island Hall into a Jungle on Monday evening 13 February.
Their unique adaptation of “The Jungle Book” is guaranteed to have the audience in stitches. Based on stories from “The Jungle Book” with a big helping of Oddsocks humour, Mowgli’s mates, Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther and Kaa the python all help to outwit his enemies and help him learn the law of the jungle. Mixing it with madcap monkeys, escaping the crazy Cobra and seeing off the terrifying Tiger Shere Kahn!
A fantastic, empowering story for all ages that will warm your heart and lift your spirits. Music, muppetry, laughter and excitement all mixed-up to make a memorable experience for the whole tribe. Expect the unexpected.
Oddsocks Productions performs regularly here in Alderney and if you saw their production of “The Legend of King Arthur” here in January 2016, you know it will be entertainment at its very best. The company takes classic texts and create bold, challenging innovative and interactive theatre to be enjoyed by all. They tell good stories, in exciting ways and have been touring nationally and internationally for 27 years to theatres and non-traditional arts venues.
Tickets £16 (£10 for under 16’s) are on sale at Shirley’s Boutique in Victoria Street, or pre-book online by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and like all previous OddSocks shows, this is likely to be another sell-out.
