Since 1989, Alderney has been twinned with the nearby French town Beaumont-Hague just across the water. Every year, the traditional Twinning event takes place either in Alderney or in France.
Alongside this, cultural exchange events and activities take place to build relationships and create a fun and exciting programme for the weekend.
In 2024, the Twinning and Cultural Exchange will be hosted by Alderney.
