As part of the Channel Islands Heritage Festival and the Alderney Heritage Week, Dr Trevor Davenport will guide a tour of Cambridge Battery and the newly cleared site Battery No.3, both batteries are part of the second largest Victorian Fort on Alderney: Fort Tourgis. Fort Tourgis is a good example of how the 19th century’s fortifications have been modified by the German occupation during the WW2.

The tour will starts at 2.30pm at Fort Tourgis / Platte Saline car park.

£6 per adult, £3 per child. Please book in advance, contact the Visitor Information Centre on 01481 822333 or or pop in!
