Celebrating 10 Years of Exceptional Chamber Music on Alderney

Running from the 11 to 16th August 2027, The Alderney Chamber Music Festival returns in for its 10th anniversary, with another outstanding programme featuring performances by some of the world’s finest musicians.

Set against the unique character and history of Alderney, the festival offers audiences the chance to experience high-calibre chamber music in two remarkable venues: the historic Island Hall and magnificent St Anne’s Church, known as the Cathedral of the Channel Islands.

A Norman-French Twist

To celebrate the Year of the Normans, the 2027 festival will have a distinctive Norman-French flavour. Alongside much-loved classical repertoire, specially selected works will reflect Alderney’s historic connections with Normandy and its rich cultural heritage.

The anniversary programme also brings back festival favourites including ‘Bach and Coffee’, the lively final cocktail concert, and an interactive children’s musical workshop, featuring a special visit to meet Norman the Blonde Hedgehog.
