Conservation Volunteers

Join the Conservation Volunteers and help care for Alderney’s much-loved landscapes and nature reserves, including Alderney Community Woodland, Bonne Terre, Vau du Saou, and Longis Nature Reserve.

Throughout the year, activities vary and offer a great way to get involved in practical conservation work outdoors. Tasks may include clearing footpaths, managing invasive species, maintaining bird hides, painting benches, building small structures such as bridges, assisting with livestock movements, and taking part in beach cleans.

It’s a hands-on, rewarding way to support Alderney’s environment, meet others, and make a real difference to the island’s natural spaces.
