Bibette Head
Explore one of Alderney’s most fascinating reminders of its wartime past. Bibette Head is home to some of the best-preserved German WWII defences in the Channel Islands.
Wander across the rocky peninsula and discover intact trenches, tunnels, an armoured machine-gun cupola and casemated gun positions, offering a remarkable glimpse into the island’s heavily fortified wartime landscape.
Some of the tunnels can be explored on foot, so bring a torch if you’d like to venture inside and discover more of this atmospheric historic site.
